Isn't
the Internet great? Not long ago, you were probably restricted to
using copywriters in your local area--and if there weren't any good
ones in the bunch, you were probably up the proverbial creek without
a paddle.
But
with everything being virtual nowadays, it's a lot easier to find
and work with a great copywriter. Location is no longer an issue;
I work with clients nationwide and internationally, via email, phone
and fax.
To
view my portfolio, simply click on the area of your choice and check
out the samples. It's almost like reviewing it in person (sans the
fancy leather portfolio)--but a lot quicker, which is probably an
asset due to your busy schedule!
Press
Releases:
Foundation
Apex: I created this press release and promotional
campaign for Michelle Young, founder/owner of Chicago-based non-profit
organization Foundation Apex. The objective: to publicize the organization's
"1000 Faces of Color Project," a fundraiser that ran through
Sept. 2006. Marketing efforts have garnered publicity in publications
including the Chicago Sun-Times.
The
Literacy Academy: The Literacy Academy (TLA) is a tutoring
center based in Darien, CT. I wrote this press release, titled "Making
the Grade for Students," as part of a campaign to inform the
surrounding parent/teacher community of TLA's services and latest
events. This release helped boost TLA's clientele and led to TLA
founder Natalia Perchemlides' guest expert appearance on News Channel
12.
Tendrils:
This Brooklyn, NY.-based natural hair salon wanted to promote their
"Sense and Sensuality" open house and workshop series--which
I helped them do by creating this press release for the events.
The purpose of "Sense and Sensuality": to re-focus the
meaning of beauty back onto wellness of mind, body and spirit--rather
than on merely being a "size zero" or other superficial
qualities, and I made sure to reflect that in the release.
Jamila
White and Associates, Inc.: I created this press release
for White (an Internet marketing strategist and consultant, also
widely known as "The E-Commerce Diva") to publicize her
workshop, "Dot.com or Dot.Bomb? Strategies to Supersize Your
Web Traffic."
